1. Improper spray bar set up
2. Improper nozzle configuration
3. Improper water pressure
4. Improper dwell time
5. Improper job set up
6. Improper analysis of stripe cleaning vs. stripe removal

HOW CRIME COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED:

1. Testing the area to determine correct water pressure, spray bar and nozzle.
2. Considering the option of cleaning marking vs. removing
3. Operator Training

it would all come to that. A properly trained operator.

A properly trained operator:

• would not have used the wrong spray bar, nozzle configuration and pressure
• would have tested the area first
• would have first considered stripe cleaning and not removal
