ATSSA in the Books but the Future is Hog Day Rodeo!

Hog Technologies had another great year at the 2019 American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Convention and Traffic Expo in Tampa, Florida! The booth was filled with our latest and greatest technology. We featured four different products in the booth, including the Stripe Hog SK8000, Stripe Hog SK7500, Rumble Hog, and Thermo Hog.

Even though our trucks take center stage each and every year, the star of this year’s show was a piece of the Thermo Hog known as The Hog Pump.

The Hog Pump is 75% smaller than a Moyno pump and was built to pump thermoplastic instead of peanut butter. The Hog Pump can be rebuilt for less than a cost to replace a Moyno, and can be repaired without ever having to remove it from the truck! The Hog Pump is also available on its own as they can be fit onto any other existing thermo truck with no modifications to hydraulics. The Hog Pump even weighs less than the Moyno pump by a whopping 371 lbs!

In addition to our products, the Hog Technologies lounge, once again, featured book signings and giveaways from President and Founder, James P. Crocker.

Of course, what would ATSSA be without an ATSSA After Party? We rented the entire top floor of Top Golf in downtown Tampa where all of our VIP guests were entertained by a modern golfing experience, a live band, food and drinks, raffles, prizes, and more!

While this was our biggest and greatest showing at ATSSA to date, we have decided that we will be scaling back our presence at the show going forward. The reason for this decision was made was due to our Hog Day Rodeo event garnering more and more attention each and every year. February 28-March 2 is our next event and it is already promising to be our biggest one ever.

We can do more at our own event than we can at a trade show like ATSSA. We can do full product demonstrations, Q&A sessions with our team of engineers and designers, give a facility tour, and really bring our products and our operations to our attendees in uncommon and exceptional ways. Of course, if the ATSSA After Party was any indication, we also like to entertain our guests as well! That’s why we will have a cocktail happy hour on Thursday the 28th, the demonstrations/tour/Q&A on the second day, March 1, and a day of rest, relaxation, and fun consisting of Golf, Airboat Tours, and Deep Sea Fishing on the third day, March 2!

Hog Day Rodeo will be our big focus going forward as we enjoy inviting you for a personal experience here at our world headquarters in Stuart, FL. This February’s Hog Day Rodeo will also be a special one as it will be the final Hog Day Rodeo in our current facility. We are slated to move into a brand-new 105,000 square foot facility this Spring which will increase productivity and give us the room we need as we continue to expand! Our next Hog Day Rodeo later in the year will be our first from our brand-new home! Needless to say, both Hog Day Rodeos in 2019 will be very special to us in their own ways and we look forward to inviting you down to Stuart, FL to experience them both!
